This piece was inspired by all the impatient customers I have waited inline behind, who have seemed to have lost sight of the fact that the stuff they want isn’t worth the attitude.

When the service bell is rung, lights flash, the donut pops inside the bell jar, the “now serving” counter advances, and 2 seconds of audio is recorded and then played back at a sped-up, higher pitched rate.

The piece preferably uses real donuts, but a crochet donut can be used if upkeep is an issue.
